Network Gear I think we have like 4 or something 24/p switches and server these around 10ish

1x 24p 10/100/1000
1x 8p 10/100/1000
1x 24p 10/100
1x 10/100 16p
2x 10/100/1000 16 port

plus a few others that are supplied by a few people if needed.

Yeah, They certainly have the hardware for it.

However, They also have better access time to the hall, We are limited by not being able to run into a Sunday

Would make January Holidays the best time for it, When people will be able to start attending from 12 noon on a friday, and Finish up at 12 noon saturday.

I just don't see it as being impossible.

its not impossible but to make it work well will be hard as DM X7 had around 130ish lanners and that was abit of a jump, on the mainland that is a small turnout.... for example

Reloaded LAN (Adelaide LAN once every year around Jan combines all the Adelaide lans into one. 500 - 1000 ppl)

Valhalla LAN (They run events every few months with about 300 / 400 turnout each lan, they know how to cater for large crowds).

Anyway its not impossible but its also going to be a challenge.

And thats if we get the numbers. 130 for a DM, You probably now rank as the second largest event ever to be held in TAS, To my knowledge events at the PGC were capped at 90 attendees.

all i can say is GL HF, but remember the bigger it gets and the more things you add = more stress on yourself and the less fun you will have, just remember that, considering gaming and lanning are all about the fun and the lulz.
