As Mizu has pointed out, you've already answered your question - but here's my 2bob anyway;

It'll run at full speed, but the utilised capacity will depend on the PCI interface used and the drive configuration.
Which ever way you go, you won't be able to max out both the teamed network interface and the PCI bus

thanks i was not sure i needed to know before i spent $$$ on a sata controller card and the pci bus didant support the transfer speed of sata

anouther option is to use the Scsi interface intergrated on the motherboard, i had a look on the net and it seems the new scsi type is as fast or faster than sata2 by 30 mbps but that can get expensive and i have not got my hands on this server yet only pictures so i dont know what model the scsi controller is

If you use PATA/SATA drives, keep in mind that drives up to 320GB will generally only sustain 60-70MB/s, and larger drives will tend to drop to 50-60MB/s sustained - which I probably should have mentioned in my previous post.

So if you use two drives in a striped array with a regular PCI bus, you'll only need one gigbit nic and should get about 80-90% utilisation when the network link is flooded.
