i am making a map where there is on one end a plane you jump out of and fall into a pool on the other end there is replica of my real life house

the terroeists will spawn in the house and try to get to the middle and plant the bomb

the counter terrorists will spawn in the plane try to make it to the middle to get the hostages back to the pool and/or defuse the bomb

there will be like cabnets called armorys through out the map and buy zones

ill post some pictures soon im working on the basic layout now and we can hopefully be plauying it at the next onewaylan

there will be towers with awps on each teams end

the plane will have a scout and a large sniping hole so he can be killed

i am planning to make machine gun implacements so we czan pepper the battlefield

i am also thinking of making a button thing that makes the corresponding team win but it will be in the open

indeed... we can all get an inside look of chris's house, cant think of an easier way to case the joint and setup an ambush than a good few rounds of CS:S in it.

On the upside, some custom maps might be fun.

i want some ideas how to layout the midde where the 1 hostage and the bomb site will be located

for example

a glass house
a block of water you have to swim through to get to the bomb site
any ideas will be used

the textures i will am using are not in the digital zone compile
ill have to find the textures used in the legit version and make a patch to install it into digital zones
i wonder if we can make a installer to install the Whole digital zone instead of stuffing around with multiple installers

do u have a tower on the side of your house?

if not maybe you added it in cause you need sleep seeing as the tower was added at almost 4am..

IDEAS:
there are these things known as lights, perhaps with them we could see INSIDE the house eh?
dont make the map too over-sized, if anything, we need maps that are quick paced
Give up on updating the Digital Zone version we are using, having to update EVERY SINGLE LAN gives me the SHITES like nothing else.
( ^^ ive always been on MiZUs case about this ^^, i could understand if the patches were fixing major issues, such as dropouts etc, but they aren't)
if we need textures, we will just make a map pack installer, else, if the server has them, clients SHOULD download them automatically if they are missing.
or, heres a novel idea.. work with the textures that the DZ install DOES have !!

oh, and haivng a hostage AND a bomb is going to be annoying, go with one or the other, and if its in the midde, id suggest the bomb site. (or, better yet, neither, make the entire map purely about elimination of the enemy, that way people dont pussy foot around planing the bomb and camping / waiting out the round)
