yer so you can set "Hi everybody" into a variable using strcpy.

Example:

Code:

char textstring[255]; // Create the variable and set size to 255 characters
strcpy(textstring,"Hi everybody"); //Set the variable
cout << textstring; //Print the text to the screen

np, I'm no pro at C++ only know some of the very minor stuff. tAKs autoitscript seemed quite powerful for what it was (saw it at the lan).

Anyways if you have any more questions, I'm sure someone here can try help.

It is.. Auto IT can perform Dll and windows API function calls, can run any command that is inherrent to VBS and Dos..
this makes it a really simple yet powerful tool, i actually use it in replacement of VBS and Batch scripts.

My example was just a way to show you that many different programming languages accomplish things in MANY different ways.
there are extreme difference between C++, VB 6 and Auto IT.

Personally, id rank C++ and VB 6 Much higher on the list than Auto IT.
