FOUR more men have been charged over the theft of a large quantity of explosives from Forestry Tasmania.[/b]


The men - aged between 19 and 23 - have been charged with burglary after break-ins at the Forestry Tasmania storage facility in Geeveston, 60km south of Hobart, and the Geeveston Pistol Club, on Sunday.

The arrests follow that of a 25-year-old Geeveston man who earlier appeared in Hobart Magistrates Court.

Kenneth David Reynolds was charged with two counts each of stealing and burglary, and one of committing a common nuisance.

Tasmania Police Inspector Mark Mewis on Tuesday said some of the explosives was found following a search at a house in Geeveston.

Police searched bushland yesterday and found the rest of the missing explosives.
