Next DM LAN is coming up so if you want to come along and win some of the many prizes from all of our various competition please pre-register and come and have fun.

One thing i will mention is that we have a Wii tennis (2v2 elimination) and a wii bowling (1v1 elimination)competitions happening with a cash prize of $40 for winning tennis ($20 for each player) and $20 for winning the bowling competition.

There should also be a Tekken 5 (1v1 elimination) on PS3 competition being held, winner receives $20.

The lucky door prize is also a 250GB sATA HDD.

Just wondering. Who's idea was it to hold a lan the weekend before exams start? :S

Also just putting it out there, I've noticed there's a lack of intrest in the CoD series' at these lans? Any particular reason? I'd prefer some intellectual replies and not just the "CoD is for n00bz, play CS" that happens so often. Surely theres more than 5 gamers in the state interested in a CoD/CoD2 prize-tourney at one of these lans...

Well we havent planned on running a CoD competition as of yet because we are currently lacking one server which puts us in a position of not being able to run one. There will most likely not be a CoD competition at X6 but there will most definantly be one hosted at X7.

Btw which school are you at and are you by any chance Tassie on the DM forums now?

you could come along and im sure plenty of people will play it with you.

our intranet has a special feature no other intranet has that we know of, it allows you to add your own competition for any game you choose and we will annouce it for you but we wont host it you have to do this yourself and if you want prizes for it that part comes down to you because its your competition.

anyway think about coming along next LAN anyway just to meet some of us and get a feel for our event its sure to be a great night just like our last but much better.

Im at GYC mate, hobart campus. and yeah I'm the Tassie ont he DM forums, i found a link hiding somewhere, got a draft of the timetable though and dont have an exam until thursday so I'll be hitting up x6 aswell ;-D

good to hear, we want to try and hit the big 100 this lan so tell everyone you know about it aswell and our pre-registers might look small now but they normally sky rocket during the last week or two so dont get discouraged.
