Hey, Awesome.. You ever have anything to do with the Nexus events that ran up north?

nah lol. i went to the last one they held and it was pretty pathetic to be honest.

had to setup own tables, supply own switch because they forgot their's. was pretty average to say the least.

Ahh, fair enough.

I know Nexus used to run the largest events in tassie. Just figured you might have known them, I don't hear a lot about gaming in the north these days, and its a dieing thing down south, I think Dark-Media are the only ones down this way that are still kicking along with a healthy turn out.

We run the OWLs more as a mates get together with open invite, Hopefully you guys get a decent turnout. Make sure to post some pics of your first event !

yeah i knew the people who ran it but yeah, nexus is dead. the only LAN we have up here now is aXon (and us) aXon usually has bout 70 people showing but they had 96 last time.

we're not aiming (as yet) for a huge LAN, as i've found that the smaller LANs seem to get along better. We might just leave aXon to be the big LAN and we'll just offer something a bit smaller in the meantime.

Cool, wish I was up north when the event was on.

Axonlan is a great well run lan in the north thats held on sat- sun. check out www.axonlans.com for dates.

About december sometime they have a massive lan which begins earlier on sat and finishes later on sunday which there is usually 90 or so ppl. There are comps with prizes. Anyone is welcome to attend.
