i got one of those meself..

it was a real let down.. and ill bet it never would have happend, if ozemail hadnt sold out to iiNet...
and to top things off, despite having had my connect speed lowered, its running even slower than it should stil, i was lucky to get 60k a sec out of my 1.5 plan, now im scraping to get 30k a second out of the 512k

iiNet had better introduce some serious Qos stuff or im gonna be forced to get our net plan changed.

I think its just tassie in general getting shitty speeds, im well under with telstra as well.

Thing is sometimes my speeds will be lightning fast 100kbs^ then all of a sudden its like someone notices at telstra and says "I dont fucking think so matey!" and it drops back down to around 30kbs

Im on a 512/128 connection.

ahh, the speed issues with telstra can be explained by the veritas break down...

everyone needed a new provider.. unfortuneately, they all decided to jump into the apparently "big pond" and there wasnt enough water to hold them all..

your stuck in the same situation as me, too many customers on the one provider, means that the provider cant provide.

If they cant supply the speeds posted then they are lying to us. And by lying to us they are breaching contract.

Unfortunantly i dont have a team of 40 high priced attorneys to fight it. And an ombudsman isnt going to do anything is he?
