9/10 area is gutted, rest of the school suffers from smoke and water damage. Power is out etc.

Just think, this has the opertunity to provide a bigger and better school!

Yeah, hopefully They re-build it Grant. And with any luck the insurance company will write the entire school off.

Are school buildings insured? I didn't think they were.

Yeah, I think the Education Dept maintains those policies though.

I know that in event of theft, Forced entry is required to make a claim.

I can only assume that seeing as they are a government funded asset, and there are so many of the damn things, that the buildings would be fully insured.
Otherwise the government would be way out of pocket if anything were to happen to them.
